Contacted by provider and shared about the concerns of the child and the possibility of needing counseling. Stated that the child says some things that send off red flags nothing alarming like abuse or anything of that nature. Just things like “what if no one loves me” and “I wanted to make sure you were still here.” She also mentioned that he is very huggy and clingy. Suggested that from what was shared that it appears child may have separation anxiety and it may be a good idea to have him see a counselor. Provider agreed but wanted to wait till around the 18th to see what CPS will proceed with. |
