Notes for this Consultation
Phone consultation with Provider going through continued struggles with their eldest child and their faults in school. “I feel so embarrassed that I am a teacher and my child is failing at the school I teach.” Client expressed that having the difficulties with her own child makes it difficult to assist with the child in the program because all attention is given to her teenager. Provider informed of upcoming IEP and wanted support because of the “anxiety that takes over”. Will refer to therapist to support.
