Notes for this Consultation

Phone consultation with client going through continued upsets around her job and the transition to full virtual teaching. “The same child and mother that tried to say I was pushing a political agenda, tried to say I haven’t been available to the student. But when I showed that her child was not reaching out and logging on, she changed her tune.” With the struggles around the divorce, client has been able to admit that she has been in “bad moods” and lashing out at times. “My children telling me that I be talking crazy to them, and I’m like if ya’ll stop acting crazy than I wouldn’t” Continue to help client to process her emotions and take time to digress before handling a stressful situation. Encouraged client to start thinking about the things that she can control and not letting others and situations have the power over her.
