Notes for this Consultation
Phone consultation with client going through continued struggles with their eldest child and their faults in school. “I feel so embarrassed that I am a teacher and my child is failing at the school I teach.” Client expressed that having the difficulties with her own child makes it difficult to assist with the child in the program because all attention is given to her teenager. Client continues to have hardships with presenting herself to her teen and grown children as she would want to present to them. With the struggles around the divorce, client has been able to admit that she has been in “bad moods” and lashing out at times. Continue to help client to process her emotions and take time to digress before handling a stressful situation.
