Notes for this Consultation
Talked about COVID-19 and the impact that it is having on her work. She now only has one client, but it is 7 days a week. She is afraid that she will carry the virus from the children to her elderly adult clients. Talked about washing hands and the guidelines that the CDC and Public Health Departments are putting out. She is stressed because she is afraid that her children will get laid off and come back home because they have no where to live. Social Security has rescheduled her meeting until the first week in April . I will support client to write a letter and ask for a date past the pandemic peak here in Seattle. Talked about it being OK to take the kids outside but they can not play at parks and must social distance themselves from other children. Talked about reducing stress by doing the next indicated thing versus looking at the big picture and becoming overwhelmed.
