Notes for this Consultation
Consultation with provider and the provider shared about being stressed due to needing to take off of work to stay home to care for child. Stated that the child had complained of having a soar throat and started feeling warm and very emotional. On top of that provider complained about the heater still being out and that the maintenance weren’t coming until the end of the week. Supported client in knowing the tenant rights that it is the responsibility of the landlord to make sure there is running water and heat. Provider will use the information given to contact the landlord to inform the maintenance that this time-frame is too long. Also suggested to the Provider that if child has persistent soar throat after two days, that an appointment should be made to the doctors.
