Notes for this Consultation
Provider reports that she has asked her older sons not to come home high or intoxicated while she is caring for her grandchildren. They are complying and the children do not have to deal with their unpredictable behavior. She is setting limits with her youngest grandson’s aggressive behavior (she is using redirection and having him sit in a part of the living room to calm himself down). Reminded her that it gets harder before it gets better. She is feeling healthier – has been compliant on her medication consistently over the last several weeks and says she feels better when she and the kids go for a walk or play in the park. Reviewed the FFN over-payment hearing decision. She has to pay back $4,000.00+ dollars. Will look into the appeals process for her.
