Notes for this Consultation

Consultation with provider while attending the visit with child and bio mother. Provider was very disturbed from a message received from the mother the night before with wild accusations of “trying to take her child and working with the other child’s father and cps.” The provider was also very hurt that once again the mother resorted back to these wild thoughts and ideas due to what she believed to be high emotional distress. Provider believed that there gad been growth from the last time child was out of home placement. Also observed child and the mother interacting well. Witnessed child giving mother a valentine’s present and hugging baby brother. Provider kept a pretty good distance from them to give them space. Provider shared also that the demeanor of the mother was very different than the previous day as the mother was very emotionally unstable, but managed to get through the visit. Provider has stated that it has been most stressful over the last two days.
