Notes for this Consultation

Consultation with Provider and provider shared that they were getting over the cold/flu. Made sure environment was safe for the consultation. Provider appeared to be past the contagious stages. Baby appeared to be healthy and doing well. Was very mellow and attentive to Aunt’s & CHW’s voice. Provider started to share her feelings of upset with baby’s father (Provider’s brother) and the action of him letting provider know that’ll he’ll be getting off of work early to rest due to him being sick also. Provider was angered by this because although she’s acting as the nanny, she would think that he would relieve her so that she could get a break. Provider also shared that she feels less of an adult because she’s not working and receiving money from her parents. Interaction between baby & provider was good. Baby became fussy and provider did standing and rocking/soothing and baby feel asleep. Will help provider look into possibly filling out SSI and contacting Peer Seattle
