Notes for this Consultation
My providers had invited me to high point for program outreach. The program is called high point residents lifelong recreation. On Monday they had an event whereby everyone from the community was invited to walk around the neighborhood to talk about topics and discussions regarding the neighborhood. The walk lasted about 1hr and 40mins. We then discussed about how covid is affecting the community and prevention of covid. How this new delta variant is coming into play and are going back to phase 1. We talked about the koi pond in the neighborhood and how the animals were being affected. We talked about growing more trees, and the benefits of having lots of trees. We talked about the closing of west Seattle bridge and how it has impacted everyone with traffic. We talked about how the new delta variant will affect our kids going to school. A lot of parents are concerned that covid may affect kids as well and since there is no vaccine for the little ones, it’s better to stay home and do remote learning. We encouraged everyone to come out next time to talk about our community so everyone could be heard and speak our thoughts and share between us. |
